HAVARD SCHOOUL UK INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS INFORMATION ON VISAS AND IMMIGRATION

Foreign or International students will need a student Visa to study in the UK. Therefore, to apply for a UK Student-Visa, you need to provide:

  • A Completed Visa Application Form (VAF9-PBS Migrant) accompanied with PBS Appendix 8 General Student Self- Assessment Form, which are available from the UK visa website.
  • An original unconditional enrolment letter from HAVARD SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY-UK (HAVARD SCHOOL UK).
  • Proof of qualifications eg Ordinary level certificate, GCE, Diploma etc; the visa office will want to see original certificates.
  • Proof that you have the funds on your personal account available to pay for your course fees and living expenses while in the UK.  The most important consideration is that you must satisfy yourself and the relevant authorities that you have sufficient funds to cover your entire period of study without recourse to public funds.
  • You need to show that the applicant will not take full –time employment except as permitted by law.

Full-time students are permitted by the UK and Immigration law to work part –time during students’ terms and unlimited hours, during public and students holidays in order to have UK work life experience and to mitigate some of the students’ cost of living expenses.

 WORK PERMIT:        

  • Staying in the UK after the student visa expires, the UK Immigration and Boarder Agency allows UK graduates to work for two years in the UK and to potentially switch to other UK Visa categories.
